Online inspection/objection of the 2019 Draft Valuation Roll

The Nairobi City County Government is inviting all ratable property owners to inspect the new draft valuation roll. While the roll is available at the county offices for inspection by the public, an online platform has been provided to allow ratable owners to inspect the draft valuation roll.

As per the provisions of the Valuation for Rating Act, CAP 266 Laws of Kenya, ratable owners may submit objections to the valuation roll, and provide reasons for such objections. Each objection will be evaluated by the Nairobi City County Government upon payment of statutory fee of KES 500.

A notice has been issued by the Nairobi City County Government for ratable owners to inspect the draft valuation roll and submit their comments, queries or objections. Ratable owners may submit any objections within 28 days from the date of the publication of the public notice dated 21st May 2021 in the local daily and the Kenya gazette.
